Welcome to Rub a Dub Doggie, a full service pet grooming and doggie daycare located in Fenton, Mo.
Rub a Dub Doggie is co-owned by Suzanne Christensen and Kim Coleman and was opened in October of 2003.
Kim had nearly 30 years experience in the animal care field prior to becoming a partner at Rub a Dub Doggie. Most recently, she worked at Animal Clinic of Clayton for 13 years during which time she served as a veterinary technician and office manager. Kim is now an accomplished bather and groomer and has a wealth of knowledge concerning dogs and cats and thier care. Kim is proud "mom" to 4 dogs and 1 cat, and also married to a good sport.
Suzanne also has many years of experience in the animal care field. She received training at the Midwest Institute of Medical Assistants to graduate as a certified veterinary assistant. She then worked several years in the veterinary field. In addition to her vet experience, Suzanne also ran a kennel for several years, and does some rescue and placement work with dogs. Suzanne received her training in grooming at the Missouri School of Dog Grooming, and graduated in June of 1999. She is a Certified Professional groomer and was awarded the title of Certified National Master Groomer after being certified in all breeds, in April 2006. Suzanne is also "mom" to several dogs, one son, several farm critters and one husband.
Suzanne and Kim became good friends while working together at the Animal Clinic of Clayton. They are both dog lovers and are very caring in the treatment of their clients. Both also have personal experience with elderly, infirm and special needs pets.
They also build on their grooming knowledge by attending continuing education seminars at least once a year.
As well as full service grooming for all breeds of dogs and cats, Rub a Dub Doggie also offers doggie daycare 6 days a week.
